Big problem. Big run. Big thanks!
Story
Ever felt down? Really down? Felt you had no one who would really listen to you? Tried to end it all? Had a friend or family member who tried?
No? You lucky thing. Yes? I know how it feels. And so do millions of people.
Lifeline is a renowned mental health, crisis support and suicide prevention service. The service is free, its benefits priceless!
But it also costs to run and grow Lifeline.
That is why I ran the 2011 Sydney Marathon on Sunday, 18 September and raised money for Lifeline.
I dug deep and finished the a great 42.2 km (26 miles) course on a very hot day.
But that's nothing compared to what many in our communities experience daily.
So ... you can still dig as deep as you want to support a service that, hopefully, you or your loved ones may never need.
ALL donations go directly to Lifeline, every penny appreciated !
Thank you.

PS Target adjusted from 1200 to 1500 !!! So far, 31K has been raised for Lifeline from this event. HUGE \o/
